How you can protect yourself from Bad Air Quality?
As soon as the winds in northern India turn cooler, they bring attention to a significant yet neglected topic - The Bad Air Quality. There comes a season when people begin to talk about AQI, too many google searches happen to understand it but very few get it, memes are created on Delhi's Air, people laugh, politics is polished and then everything remains the same and winters pass.

This is happening here every year for the last decade. Quite an interesting season of trolling. But not a single big step is taken to help people out of it. Even though this article doesn't have any solution for you but I bring you some suggestions which you can use to protect yourself from this Air--
Use A N95/99 mask
Yes, don't burden yourself with the technology behind it, we will cover that on our Instagram but just use it. It works. Use it when you step outdoors especially when you are walking.
Have Air Purifying Plants/Filters in your Home
Take Steam regularly
Consume fruits rich in Vitamin C
Drink Herbal Solutions
Take a balanced diet
Do Exercise but wisely decide the place
Minimize Exposure
So I hope we can pass this winter easily with a devotional hope that something different will be waiting for us next year. Don't lose hope.But in the end, I just want to give us a soar pill of facts because ultimately they speak louder
- The severity of Smog in Delhi is increasing every year rapidly since 2016
- Delhi is fortunate that we at least talk about it. It is the problem of every major city situated above the Tropic of Cancer in India.
- About 2 million people die every year due to health issues created by air pollution
- 41% of these pollutants come from vehicles (Center for Science & Environment, 2018)
And the harshest one--
The maximum number of people only know about pollution, they do not understand it.
